Hurricane Grace hits eastern Mexico hard with power outages and felling trees

It’s causing power outages, heavy flooding and downing trees and was the most powerful storm smashing the country’s Gulf coast.

Hurricane Grace estimated maximum winds of 125 miles per hour. Before Hurricane Grace smashed land, authorities asked people in five states to look for shelter.

Mexico authorities said that Grace lashed Mexico’s Caribbean coast, downing trees and causing power outages and moving toward Jamaica and Haiti.
