Worst drought in 40 years caused by Climate change, which created a major famine in the Africa region

The UN already believed it was catastrophic caused by climate change and saw a hundred of thousand of people are suffering from hunger and food insecurity after many years without a single raindrop. Especially, a million children are in danger of being acutely malnourished.

Worst drought in 40 years has devastated isolated farming communities in some parts of South Africa. In order to survive, these people will eat any kind of food, cactus leaves and insects. It’s not happening by conflict but actually caused by climate change.

These people have done nothing with climate change and did not use fossil fuels. But they are paying for and bearing the brunt of climate change from other parts of the world.

The recent IPCC report said that the Africa region will increase with more drought and is also expected to increase if climate change continues.
